Hi John

What this means is, if you have a list, there will be people who are ACTIVE, meaning they are currently recieving your email series. Then, there are those who are FINISHED. These are the people who have recieved all of your email series.

So, you must be sure which group of people you are deleting. Hope this clarifies.

Thanks Thomas,
Not too sure what you are talking about.
Maybe need some time to digest it.
I do feel slow at learning.
John.

John

First, welcome to the forum.

I went to your autoresponder, and saw 2 subscribers there.

I then did a "Delete Leads", select "All" and was able to delete both subscribers.

Perhaps when you delete leads earlier, you'd see there's supposed to be 3 options for leads:

Active (those still in the email series), Finished (those already finished the series), and All (Active plus Finished).

If you just select "Active" then your 2 subscribers would still be there, as you have only one email in the series and both would have been in "Finished" status.

Hope this is clear.

Thomas

This is strange. When you say "purge" and "delete", seems like you are referring to different things? If a subscriber is in the list, then the same email cannot be subscribed again. From what I am hearing, seems like you no longer see the subscriber in the list, but when you try to sign up, it says the email is already a subscriber. Correct?

I will get Thomas to look into this.

Hi,
After purging, there's still old data in it.
Tested it out with formerly used email, it says that it is already in subscriber list.
If only you delete everything, it is then clean.
As I am still new, I wont know the actual way it goes.
 John.

Hi John, what do you mean by "not clean"? Do you mean that there are still records in there?

Hi John

Sorry about that. Was travelling for a while and had to catch up on some other backlog. Here is a short note on the Autoresponder in terms of how to access it:

This is what we need you to do:

For Smart Business Formula members

1) Take note that the login URL to your autoresponder account has been changed to the new server:

Old login (no longer in use) : http://www.rankingstorm.com/cgi-bin/ranksponder/login.cgi

2) Change your opt-in form code on your site: you only need to replace "rankingstorm.com" with "increasingwebsitetraffic.com" (only one occurrence)
