Yes, it’s true. The Internet has become so vast that if you are smart enough, you can find tools that allows you to even spy on others. But here’s an ingenious way to find if an affiliate product can make you money or not.

Here’s how the system works. I assume you know that many affiliate marketers are promoting products online through Pay Per Click using Google Adwords etc. Now, when these affiliates advertise on Google Adwords, you can instantly find their advertisements on the right side of your Google search. It is about analyzing how your competition is running their AdWords campaign.

The trick is to spy on a site you are competing with, that obviously knows what they are doing when it comes to marketing via Adwords, and then let them do the market research and testing for you. If you see them changing their Adwords around, see what type of ad they eventually settle on, see which ones obviously don’t work, and so on. 

Here are the steps that you can do:

1) Gather all your keywords on an Excel sheet.

2) Type in the keywords in google.com one by one and copy all the advertisement and url that appears for each keyword into your Excel colums.

3) Everyday, check on google.com with the same keywords to find out who is still advertising and who not and add in those that are new. This is to find out which product or affiliate is still standing. The ones that are still standing could be making profits. That’s why they are still advertising.

4) Repeat process 2 and 3 for 7 days. The advertisement that is left standing and appearing the most on google.com should be the most profitable. You can instantly know that his advertisement and website is makeing him profit. All you have to do is to swipe/copy his advertisement and do what he does…of course you can improvise the advertisement if you want.

This is a great way to not only find profitable products to promote, but also to get proven advertising headlines without you scratching your head to come up with one.
