Affiliate Tools Part 1 – Resources To Promote Your Affiliate Link

Many of you who are with the Smart Business Formula program are new. While you are learning the basics of Internet Marketing, you can be making some serious income by simply promoting Smart Business Formula itself!
To help you, we have prepared a few resources for you. We will add on more as we have more time after the initial launch.
Tool #1: Email Signatures
This is by far the easiest and most overlooked tool for affiliate marketing. Remember, your ClickBank hoplink used to promote Smart Business Formula should be: http://yourclickbankid.smartbizf.hop.clickbank.net/
IMPORTANT: replace yourclickbankid with your actual ClickBank ID!
You can sign off with your normal sign off and add the additional lines after.

Tool #2: Forum Signatures
Using the same principles as your email signature, many forums allow you to have an automatic sign off below every one of your posts. Take advantage of them by displaying your affiliate links. Under your Profile in the forum, make sure you add a signature line.

Be careful as some forums do not allow promotion links in their signature. Whatever you do, always remember to respect the rules of the web site that you are visiting.
Tool #3: Email SAMPLES

Tool #4: Hiding Your ClickBank Hoplink
Some of you might want to hide your ClickBank hoplink. There are many reasons for doing so and one of the main reasons is to prevent people from bypassing your affiliate hoplink and substituting it for their own. How can you stop this? There are again many methods. But I want to show you a very simple one that anyone can do – use TinyURL. Here are the steps:
- Go to http://www.tinyurl.com/
- Put your ClickBank hoplink into the box and click on Make TinyURL
- Immediately, you will see a new page that contains two links the first one being
The following URL:has a length of 46 characters and resulted in the following TinyURL which has a length of 25 characters:

[Open in new window]Simply copy the http://tinyurl.com/whateverishere and this will be the new “hoplink” that you can use to promote anywhere. Simple and secure.
